Donation of Money

  • Most nonprofits could use multiple funding sources. We need to tell our story better with video testimonials and stories to bring this point home
  • There are several tax beneficial programs that many corporations can leverage. The CCTC program is one of them
    •  The Community Contribution Tax Credit Program (CCTCP) provides a financial incentive (up to 50% tax credit or sales tax refund) to encourage Florida businesses to make donations toward community development and housing projects for low-income persons. This maxes out at $200,000 per year per donor.

Donation of Time, Talents and Contacts

o We have several volunteers that assist us with the telephones, paperwork and labor to rehab houses. We really could use more:

  • Story Tellers – to capture the content from some of the 200+ clients we help each year
  • High Net Worth Contacts – For higher level donations, financial resources, Foundations with similar interests, etc.
  • Political Contacts – to influence local and state policies
  • Adwords Expert – to leverage the $10,000/mo google marketing grant

Donation of Real Estate

We should encourage the 200+ clients we assist as well as others in the community to bequeath the residences that we helped them to remain in until they move on to the “upper room”

  • I’ve attached a few documents and brochures of why real estate should be donated and how the steps they should take
  • Impact Investing – Measurable Financial Return, Social return and Environmental Impact

o Impact investing refers to investments “made into companies, organizations, and funds with the intention to generate a measurable:

  • Social Impact
  • Environmental Impact
  • A Financial Return of Capital
