The St. Johns Housing Partnership Make a Difference Day mobilizes volunteers and encourages community support. The annual event is Saturday, Oct. 25 from 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. and aims to help paint, clean, and repair homes for veterans, the elderly, or disabled individuals. Volunteers are needed for various tasks, including exterior house painting, repairs, landscaping, and building wheelchair ramps. Make A Difference Day promotes the idea of volunteering and making a positive impact in the community. Individuals and teams from groups, companies, churches and organizations are urged to volunteer. Donations of money and materials are also needed.

DONATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY FRIDAY, OCTOBER 3RD  TO SCHEDULE PROJECTS

On Saturday, October 25th, the SJHP and 125 Volunteers will join together to “Make a Difference” for 15 homeowners and families in St. Johns County. To make this event successful, we are seeking donations (materials and money). If you can help us, we can help our community!

25 gallons of exterior trim paint: white latex (5-gallon increments, please)

25 Paint Scrapers

20 Caulk Guns & 72 tubes of caulk

72 (ea) Roller & Covers – 6” & 9”

20 Cases of Bottled Water

10 Boxes Contractor Grade Outdoor Trash Bags

10 Bug Sprays, 10 Wasp Sprays, 5 First Aid Kits
