SJHP Thanks Urban Plunge for Acts of Kindness

A fresh coat of paint. A brand-new ramp. Countless acts of kindness.

This year’s Urban Plunge volunteers from St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, Orange Park, Sacred Heart Catholic School, St.Matthew’s Catholic Church, Jacksonville, and Annunciation Catholic School jumped right into serving our community.

One team spent the day painting one of St. Johns Housing Partnership’s rental homes, while another was hard at work building a wheelchair ramp for a Flagler Estates resident.

Every brushstroke, every board, and every hour volunteered helps make a home safer and more accessible for our neighbors.

Urban Plunge is about more than completing projects. It’s about young people discovering that service has the power to change lives —including their own.
